National Journal Insiders' Poll: Netroots Help Dems

It's like asking the sharks how the guppies taste, right?

This week's Political Insiders poll from National Journal talked to 71 GOPers and 66 Dems (6/17 issue).

"netroots" is a term known to people in politics. Others like myself who slave in the pits of web design and dev may know more about what will happen...if i even have the term right.

Fact is, this will be a trully massive experiment for the social network sites. Blots have been around. Social network sites have rocketed. They have far more power than blogs I think.

In all my hatred for the people who claim to be leaders and have brought us where we are since 9/11, it may well be that this election will see mainstreet have some real say via the Net.

Seems silly that you have forgotten Buckhead et al: so soon.
That incident had a huge impact on
bringing down Rather who wanted to bring down
Bush just prior to the election. Also, Swiftboats
were heavily talked about and promoted on the internet,
but you are so savy it must have been
a mistake that you missed these big stories.
