Warner Signs Jim Jordan

JIm Jordan, one of the brightest stars in the Democratic strategic firmament, has signed on with Gov. Mark Warner's Forward Together PAC.

He will serve as a part-time senior adviser, and a Warner aide said Jordan will primarily consult on the '06 elections. Jordan is a former executive director of the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee.

Jordan, in a brief interview, said he "deeply admire[s] the governor's life, accomplishments, vision, character, and genuineness. I'm very flattered that he asked me to play a small role in his plans over the next few months."

Will Jordan, who was John Kerry's first campaign manager and later an integral consultant to America Coming Together, help Warner in 2008?

"Neither of us has made plans past this November," he said.
