Hard To Beat This Ad From North Carolina 13...
The spot, run by -- you guessed it -- Vernon Robinson -- includes this line.
"Brad Miller spent your money to study the masturbation habits of old men."
The full text:
ANNCR: "What kind of congressman would try to deny our soldiers the body armor they need to save their lives? The answer is your congressman, Brad Miller. That's right, Brad Miller did not vote for the appropriation that paid for improved body armor for our troops. But Brad Miller has no trouble spending your money -- he would just rather spend it on sex. That's right, instead of spending money on sickle-cell research, Brad Miller voted to spend your money to study the sex lives of Vietnamese prostitutes in San Francisco. Instead of spending money on cancer research, Brad Miller spent your money to study the masturbation habits of old men. Brad Miller spent your tax dollars to study something called the "Bisexual, Transgendered and Two-Spirited Aleutian Eskimos," whoever they are. Brad Miller even spent your tax dollars to pay teenage girls to watch pornographic movies with probes connected to their genitalia. Brad Miller pays for sex, but not for body armor for our troops. If Miller had better priorities, you wouldn't be having to hear this." Robinson: "I'm Vernon Robinson, and I approved this message because Brad Miller is out of touch, and soon, he'll be out of Congress" (Hotline sources, 9/26).

And I thought the Republicans didn't have enough extremist lunatics parading as conservatives.

Money for war or money to show girls porn? I'm guessing the second is a pretty popular campaign plank frankly.

Wait a minute this is false and slanderous. Congress as a whole votes on the allocation of money and if the soldiers aren't getting it it is because of Republicans, not Democrats at this time. The problem may not even be congress, but the runaway executive branch that won;t pay for the war except through the supplemental process because they can decide where to put the money which has less oversight ans strings attached becaue it is not in a regular budget. If the soldiers don't get what they need I first blame the executive branch and then Congress.

If hard to beat is a double entendre, then you guys are sicker than I thought!
Way to go Vernon - Ole Boy Jessie H. would be proud. Thank God we live in the 21st Century and your insanity is easily recognized. It takes someone like you to make Rove appear almost classy. Eww!

Both sides cherry pick votes. It's the Amurrikin way. The body armor vote is being used against a Republican in OH.

Note that their using NIH (National Institute of Health) grants as their ammo. I'm guessing the democrats voted on an amendment to continue funding the National Institute of Health, probably around the time Bush was trying to distract us from Iraq with bird flu.
