Oprah Endorses Obama?
Oprah gets political!
From tonight's Larry King Live, asked about all the grassroots O For '08 stuff:
“I would say, take your energy and put it in Barack Obama. That's what I would say.”
From CNN:
L. KING: And any comment on this movement to make you president?
WINFREY: Is there a movement?
L. KING: This guy's got a movement.
WINFREY: I don't know if that's a movement or not.
L. KING: He's got a website --
WINFREY: You know what I would say to him, I would say, take your energy and put it in Barack Obama. That's what I would say.
L. KING: Is that your favorite?
WINFREY: That would be my favorite guy.

I am on Oprah's side right now about endorsing Obama, I am so disgusted with the women who are lashing out at her for endorsing him and not going for a woman for president. If he endorsed Hillary, there would be alot of people mad at her for endorsing her instead of a person of her race, so go Oprah, I love ya bunches, keep up the good work you do.

Unbelievable. You know, I was diehard Clinton for 8 years and before Hillary announced running, I was already praying she would. Just to get good ole Bill back in the House. However, in the past month, I would vote republican before I voted for Hillary or Bill!! You can say media has turned words of Bills but fact he did say Obama was playing the race card, as many of you indicate on this board. Unbelievable, what do you think Bill did for 8 years! He courted minorities BIG TIME! If a African American endorses Obama, it has to be about race, it can’t be, we think he is the best candidate or he is qualified and experienced. Yet, a woman can endorse Mrs. Clinton and even say it is because she is a woman and that is okay. Double talk people. Quit following the media and do your research. Waters( National Black Caucus) endorsed Clinton–did you do the research to find out the William B Clinton Foundation was a contributor to their last fundraiser. Timing, awfully funny. Go to the William Clinton Foundation website and see the companies that have partnered with them–that is back door buying of endorsements. The Clintons would not get my vote at this point because 1) why yell foul when you THINK people are playing the race card–yet when you did it–it was okay, 2)The both of them were in the White House for 8 years, why didn’t they get this stuff done then. Bin Laudin was planting his people in the US and training them while we American’s were short sighted and consumed with who was going down on the President and what truly classifies the term sex–have we forgotten, 3) she says experience, what experience–as First Lady, she didn’t do anything but damage control of Monica and Bills mess. You mean New York or Watergate–have we forgotten that scandal that was swept under the table. If African Americans were stepping up to vote just because of race then we would have had one in long ago, have you forgotten Jesse Jackson , he was excellent speaker, Al Sharpton (he is advocated for Minorities for decades and decades), one of their challenges were getting the minority votes in. Could it be so many are backing this one because we are tired of the traditional politics with lies, deception, deceat—we won’t new eyes, fresh perspectives, CHANGE, HE COULD BE GREEN, bring about change, peace, unity, a better economy, better health care–(if Hill can do it now–why didn’t she have it done–8 years ago). We seek character, man of his word. It would be easy to say, you Clinton supporters only support her because she is female, but maybe you want to hold on to what you think is secure because you have been there “done that”, you may not like change. I understand but understand this, I AM 50% WHITE, 50% BLACK (IRISH AND AFRICAN AMERICAN) AND I am running to change, grasping for change, inhaling change, I am not running to Obama, but I am joining with him to say lets do this, not because he is African American BUT because he represents all, not just women and children but the elderly, men, families, people without titles, without categories, plain and simple people. Be informed and if after you research and now what each candidate represents then you choose who represents what is important to you but for me and my African American family we will walk with the rest of the Americans that support change and honesty!!!

In the first place it is not time to be taking time to be taking sides with a celebrity. They are not going to care who get's in the White House they will go on with there lives no matter what, It matters to the middle and lower class American's. It is the President's Job to be taking care of us the American people and Obama does not have the experience to be running the for Presidency and going into the White House he has missed 60 percent of his votes since September and that is wrong when we need jobs like Fermi-lab if he didn't miss people would have job's but see to people like Oprah that doesn't matter she has her money and the smaller people of this country have to rely on other's to defend our busnisses and Obama had dropped the ball already for Fermilab and Argonne In ILLINOIS it was all in the Suntimes for 1 person to lose there job because he was to busy is unacceptable for me especially when he Senates the State where these jobs our now lost and yes i will say it again blacks and whites .. Why don't we wait and also see what is happening with this Rezko case sounds like alot of money being pocketed there??? And if you read the Sun-Times alot of Middle Eastern names giving Obama money.. Sorry something is up with that and it does not take No Rocket scientist to figure that one out.. Also because of his running for Presidency he forgot about the state of ILLINOIS you know the state he is suppose to Senate and made all these claims he changed health care for ILLINOIS well that is news to me ,I live in ILLINOIS and there is no change and has been No CHANGE in health care. And as he was out in Iowa Fermi-Lab in ILLINOIS had to have 200 layoffs and the rest of the workers 2 days off per month wothout pay .. See Senator Obama was to busy trying to be eleceted and neglected to fight for Fermi-Lab in Batavia ILLINOIS and Whites and Blacks lost jobs which is now affecting Arggone in Lemont ILLINOIS if that is the kind of CHANGE he believes in people losing jobs in the State he Senates then that is not the kind of Change I want .... Our economy is bad enough we do not need illegal immigrant's here you think that is going to help our economy and they do not need to be getting driver's permits or anything. We have over 2 million in our Country now illegaly who are convicted felons but see the Oprah's and all the celebrities who are endorsing these candidates are not going to care they will not have to live next to them it will be you average American person. America better wake up and fast... So I am a women an not about trying to pick the first Female president or the First Bi-racial American and that is one thing the media keeps getting wrong he will not be the First African American President he would be the first Bi-Racial President how people seem to forget he did have a white mother..Do not think he does not have Skelton's in his closet with this Rezko he had said he had given it to Charity then in the next paper Obama has given more to Charity why don't we wait and see what that brings . I still believe in the bad times we are in now we need Experience and not hope and Change that Obama can give not at this time..And how can he be like the new kid on the block when he has Clinton Advisor's and now he is really latched onto the Kennedy's .. The legacy of JFK and Camelot died when JFK jr passed away.. Obama is already giving back money that he must know was dirty money or why is it going to Charity and why isn't he being Questioned on this issue more? Because it seem's like you can slam Clinton even though it is gender but you can not to Obama because it right away becomes a race issue just the way they planned it.. And also what is funny I never heard oprah talk like she did when she was with Obama in South Carolina hmmmm she doesn't shout and talk like a preacher on her show.. just remember one thing she basically became famous from women and to rush to a bi-racial man and endorse when she doesn't know all the facts is wrong it will coe out in the end with rezko a politician is a politician Just remember those word's.. Because if there is something to be said about them they don't shoot straight from the hip.. thank you Julie
