  • Off to a unique start, FL state Rep. Joe Negron (R) said: "If you want to support the president ... vote for Mark Foley" (FoxNews.com). And the locks to Foley's office have been changed (New York Times blog).


  • Speaker Dennis Hastert announced an improper contact hotline (release). Meanwhile, Tony Snow said "naughty emails" may sound "a little too glib" (release).
