It looks like a sea change is in the offing, a la 1994 Contract with America, but at the opposite side of the sinusoidal curve. Students of history, like those of business cycles, will look back and see 2006 as a pivotal year, if the American people have enough fortitude to try and recover some sense of control over the Federal government. The election on Nov 7 2006 will likely set the stage for a new mix of political players going into the 2008 Presidential election. Hopefully, the message of discontent will command enough attention within the Bush administration to not "do anything stupid" over the next two years, like invading Iran!!

What? No comment?
Did your mother tell you that if you couldn't say anything nice about Republicans, then you shouldn't say anything at all?
Don't look now, but your bias is showing, once again.

everyone has a bias ... at least his is the correct one

Hmm... Most of these numbers (save OH Sen) seem to be higher than recent polling data in each of the races.
I know Mason-Dixon is relatively reputable, but could this be an instance (with special note to NJ Sen, VA Sen, and MO Sen) where Dems are oversampled by the survey's methodology?

Yep; definitely an oversampling of voters planning to vote Democratic. The "Fair and Balanced" approach demands seeking out an equal number of the other kind, no matter how long it takes.

Spell out your concerns with the methodolgy if you are going to make that claim; else it is simply bias on your part. I'm willing to listen.
