Addendum To de Vellis Firing

Won't he be head-hunted up by every major media and internet firm... within days?

And get paid a lot more?

Getting fired might be the best thing that happened to him.

Phil worked for the Sherrod Brown campaign in 2006. He was the campaign's internet communications guy.

I am a bit mystified about this whole dustup, though. It's not like the ad Phil put out there was offensive or disgusting like the Willie Horton ads or the "Call me, Harold" ad.

It was more cute and clever than nasty and below the belt. Even Hillary saw the humor in it. Why in the world the Obama campaign is running away from Phil and the ad like it was a dirty bomb is beyond me.

This is all workin' out for the best. I called it way long ago. The Democratics were all runnin' and now Richardson may be taking over the White House in 2008. Maybe he can paint it brown with pink and purple polka dots. Just a thought.

Cheerz!

The de Vellis ad was BRILLIANT! Have some guts, Obama campaign. Unless de Vellis used company time and equipment to produce the ad, Blue should never have fired him. But don't worry too much...de Vellis will be plucked up soon by a more creative entity, you'll see.
