YouTube Wars: In '94, Rudy Thought Cuomo Was Better Than Pataki On Taxes
The latest round, fresh from YouTube:
On why Rudy endorsed Mario Cuomo (D) over George Pataki (R) in '94: "[Pataki] has plans to reduce taxes that are so ambitious and so inconsistent with the performance of the economy of the state. It would be a disaster. It would be the kind of tax shift that substitutes for sound management."

Rudy's losing ground to McCain and now he's tied with Obama in national poll: http://www.solidpolitics.com

Rudy is a soap opera with all of his marriages, problem with the kids, marriage to his own cousin, scandals in nypd, flip flops on taxes, closeness with Bernie Kerik, abortion and gay support.
Lets hope Rudy gets the nomination. If he does not get it then it should go to flip-flopper Mitt. This flip-flopper Mitt guy is a perfect fit for flip-flop hating republicans. Mitt will say anything to become president. Both Rudy and Mitt will be crashed in general.

I'll tell you though - under Pataki the upstate economy sunk to epic levels of dispair. Of course, only upstate New Yorkers know this, so it's not going to help Giuliani that much. Plus, who knows what might have happened with Cuomo.

Its a new day and another republican is caught in another lie. The NYT has reported that Giuliani knew about Bernard Kerik's ties to organized crime. According to NYT, Giuliani told a grand jury that his former chief investigator remembered having briefed him on some aspects of Bernard B. Kerik’s relationship with a company suspected of ties to organized crime before Mr. Kerik’s appointment as New York City police commissioner, according to court records.
Mr. Giuliani, testifying last year under oath before a Bronx grand jury investigating Mr. Kerik, said he had no memory of the briefing, but he did not dispute that it had taken place, according to a transcript of his testimony.
Mr. Giuliani’s testimony amounts to a significantly new version of what information was probably before him in the summer of 2000 as he was debating Mr. Kerik’s appointment as the city’s top law enforcement officer. Mr. Giuliani had previously said that he had never been told of Mr. Kerik’s entanglement with the company before promoting him to the police job or later supporting his failed bid to be the nation’s homeland security secretary.
In his testimony, given in April 2006, Mr. Giuliani indicated that he must have simply forgotten that he had been briefed on one or more occasions as part of the background investigation of Mr. Kerik before his appointment to the police post.
So the guy who is supposed to have a strong leadership forgets and hires a guy who has ties to organized crime as his police chief. Go figure!
