Calling A VP Candidate A VP Candidate
Let's just call it: Sen. James Webb would like to be the vice president.
Also during Monday's lecture, Webb was asked if he was being considered as a presidential running mate but he said he had no comment and was quickly rushed away.
Until he says, "No, I will not serve..." let's presume that he is, in some precincts of his mind, angling for a VP spot.

Southern Man...we DO need you around. Especially if John Edwards is not the nominee.

James Webb would be an excellent choice.

Oh, yes, please nominate Sen. Thinskin (D-WashPo) as the number 2 on your ticket. This guy can't even keep track of where his own loaded guns are.

Jim Webb is one of the few real leaders in American politics. I hope that Webb is the national ticket in 2008.

No interest in the job, I guarantee it!
Hell, he'll probably be a one-term senator and go back to writing, full-time. Not that that's a bad thing!
