Go figure, indeed -- an intelligent, well-spoken, educated, kind-hearted, beautiful young woman going for a sincere, kind and sensitive guy without regard to his looks or prospects for career advancement.
He's not my chosen candidate, but the media's treatment of him speaks volumes more about the shallowness of current political "reporting" than it does about the quality of the man. If he were 6'3", looked like Mitt Romney, and had a Percoset-ridden Stepford wife, the media would call him a serious contender. Hell, they did it for Bush, and he's not even that tall or good-looking.
