Giuliani is playing on the intellectually lazy position that America was attacked for it's freedoms. If anyone needs to be popped in the nose for his wildly ignorant views it's Giuliani.

After my glimpse of the clip, I'd say that Paul popped Rudy a good one. It amazes--and horrifies and pains me--that people think that Rudy's response puts him in a good light. HA's "intellectually lazy" doesn't begin to say how craven the man is.
