A More Candidate-Friendly Audience?
Retired Gen. Wesley Clark will now be exclusively on MSNBC as a military analyst, sources have confirmed to the Hotline. Clark has still not ruled out a possible White House bid and MSNBC would be a much more Dem-friendly audience than his old gig -- Fox News Channel [EMILY GOODIN].

Good for Wes Clark. There is no point working for Fox News a.k.a Faux or American Pravada or GOP propoganda machine.

Wes Clark was able to be a voice of reason to the Fox viewers. He regularly issued General Smackdown of Bill O'Rielly and Sean Hannity. I've never seen Billo as timid as when Clark was on.
Which is why Clark should run for president again.
2008 for Democrats is all about flipping red states. Who better than Wes Clark? Many Republicans who didn't care for Bush, still couldn't vote for Kerry. Clark was the only Dem. they could consider. Clark has had more EXECUTIVE leadership roles than any Senator by virtue of his military commands where he had responsibility for the lives of hundreds of thousands of servicepeople and their dependents--the whole range of housing, education, training, healthcare, social services, sometimes in a dangerous spot. When Clark was Supreme Allied Commander Europe (Eisenhower's last military position), he had "Head-of-State" status, meaning that he dealt directly with prime ministers/presidents, not underlings. And Clark was virtually the only voice urging help for Rwanda. And Clark and Madeleine Albright were the ones who convinced Clinton to take action against the ethnic cleansing in the Balkans, where Clark carried out the military action w/o the loss of a single American life. In this he stood up to the Pentagon brass who wanted nothing to do with "saving Albanians." And it was Clark who served for more than 30 years AFTER getting shot up and winning hero medals in Vietnam, when he could have gone for the big bucks in private industry. Try Swift Boating this guy--the smackdown will be heard around the world. Clark is all about duty, honor, country. When Clark's American Dream/American Hero story gets out to middle America, watch how many red states flip.
Mario Cuomo said, "Wes Clark is a man of whom you can ask a question, and he will look you directly in the eye, and give you the most truthful and complete answer you can imagine. You will know the absolute truth of the statement as well as the thought process behind the answer. You will have no doubt as to the intellect of the speaker and meaning of the answer to this question."

He's made himself known to the Fox audience. Now he can probably do more good on MSNBC, which will probably give him more exposure, and introduce him to more people.
But I hope this doesn't mean he's not planning to run.

One problem. No one watches MSNBC, except for some of the relatives of people who are on at the time (and even some of them lie about it to their family members who are on MSNBC.)

Wesley Clark is a has-been failure who will never contend again for the presidency. We are grateful for his service in the military (required disingenuous statement). Yes, Fox is more conservative. But you are blind as bats if you don't see MSNBC as in the pocket of the far-left Democrats. They are almost unwatchable. CNN is liberal but seems to try to deal in serious argument.

You must be a GOP-er, e.g., fantasy trumps reality. MSNBC is home to Chris Matthews, Keith Olbermann and Joe Scarborough, watched by large audiences.

No one watches MSNBC? Looks like "Riley, Not O'Reilly" is living in his/her own fantasy land just like Fallafel Bill'O. Countdown is scoring better than O's Factor in key demographics for a while now.
MSNBC is a much better than Faux Noise Machine which is nothing but repeats republican talking points.

Clark was an outstanding candidate and an electrifying speaker in 2004. I heard him wow
a large dinner-party audience in Dallas, with many independents in attendance.
There was a lady at my table who had grown up with Clark and was crazy about him.
Unfortunately, the "liberal media" took its cues from the GOP noise machine and pronounced him a "lousy candidate", etc. even though he held his own in debates and did very well in "town hall" settings. He also would have been a better choice for VP than Edwards. Supposedly a gifted trial lawyer, Edwards was a wimp, and just reinforced the notion that the Dems are a party that does not have "real men" in it.
