Obama in NH: Clinton Misled In Torture Response
The only time Barack Obama ever mentions Hillary Clinton on the campaign is when he says he had a "spat" with her on the issue of talking to foreign dictators. But lately Obama has been dropping the "H" bomb more often, usually to say that the candidates' health plans are similar or to talk about why he is a different from Hillary and Edwards as he makes his closing pitch for support on the campaign stump.
But in Plymouth, NH on 10/9, Obama drew one of his first clear distinctions with Clinton, mentioning her by name and accusing her of being disingenuous in her answer on torture during the Dartmouth debate with NBC's Tim Russert.
"During the debates at Dartmouth there was a little exchange because I said I don't torture. And then Tim Russert read an excerpt when ... former President Clinton said you can carve out an exception. And Senator Clinton said well that's not right I'll talk to him. Senator Clinton had the same position three months ago, she didn't, which she didn't mention during the debate."
Obama's comments were a response to whether he would make an exception on torture. Obama frequently gets this question and he emphatically says he is against it. This is the first time he has mentioned another Democrat in regards to this issue -- at least to my knowledge [ASWINI ANBURAJAN].

Obama has the most important trait --Honesty.
Hillary does not even know the meaning of the word.

Stretch, Obama, stretch!
Russert tried to sandbag Hillary with a quote from her husband because Tim thinks he's clever. Hillary offered a fairly straight forward comeback: Bill and I aren't the same person, Timmy.
As Greg Sargent said, "It perfectly captures the Beltway punditocracy's inability to grasp the notion that the American public just doesn't view Hillary through the lens of Bill." And I guess that includes Obama, too.
"Senator Clinton had the same position three months ago, she didn't, which she didn't mention during the debate."
This is just unintelligible. Was he trying to make a point?

ZM-you know Obama is honest because he told you so? Wow-it's amazing how easily people buy the media spin- Obama is a politician- get real- He has been "put together" to be "authentic" by the same man who gave Massachusetts Deval Patrick- Eventually Patrick will be a good governor but he has made many mistakes from his lack of experience. If you don't know that everything Obama says is poll tested then you'd best find out the truth. Obama has operatives that are as vicious as they come- they are mostly Clinton rejects-Don't be naive-this is too important-

Kyl-Lieberman, thanks for that Hillary. Oh and hey thanks for the brilliant baby bonds proposal nevermind unwanted teen pregnancies.
Hillary is a panderer that has manufactured rhetoric. Her supporters need to put down the Koolaid and find out whats really going on.
