Collect 'Em All: A New AFSCME Mailer Slams Obama
Despite a smattering of bad press over their last mail attack on Barack Obama's health care plan, Hillary-backers AFSCME aren't backing down. They're out with a new negative mailer slamming Obama's "Band-Aid solution" and griping that "15 million Americans can't afford to wait for Obama's actions to catch up to his promises."
Like the previous mailer, this one cites a quote from John Edwards (whose team has disavowed the attack.). The eye-catching new addition? A take-a-number machine spitting out a card printed with the number 15,000,000.
"There are 15 million reasons why Barack Obama's health care plan is not up to the job," reads the text.

Nobody should be surprised by this. After all, Obama's been skating his way through 2007 on a free press pass. This is long overdue.

Obama is little substance, all hype. The key to his success: a freshness, a lack of record to run on, the constant repetition of simple feel-good platitudes that lull listeners into a sense of trust and induce in them a yearning to believe. No wonder Barack Obama is so popular among denizens of Hollywood like Oprah: they certainly have an eye for those who can create an image, can generate a buzz that compels others to suspend their disbelief, and who can induce a trance-like stargazing. But the fact is that Barack Obama does have a record to run on and it is a record that should be of concern to those who support straight talk and honesty. Obama attacks others for triangulating, but conveniently misses controversial votes. YO OBAMA.. you talk about audacity of hope.. but what about having the AUDACITY TO VOTE!

Hillary's outsourcing her attacks to AFSCME -- you'd think AFSCME would be against outsourcing.

What does the presence of markbradley's comment above tell us?
It tells us that the Hillary Clinton campaign is utilizing its copy-paste-switch-blogs-repeat message-of-the-day attackbots as planned to distort and smear any opponent.
What does it tell us about Barack Obama?
Absolutely nothing.

Why is AFSCME afraid to put Hillary's name on this flyer? Why to they continue to make it look as if it's an attack from Edwards?
This is pathetic.
