Balls For Everyone
CLEARWATER, Fla. - Poised on each seat in the press section of Rudy Giuliani's charter this afternoon sat a baseball, with the former mayor's name scribbled between the stitching.
It seemed like a going away present from a campaign that has appeared more resigned to its fate in recent days. Campaign staffers and the press have been dancing around the future throughout the day, with one reporter even joking with a press aide about finding new jobs.
The crowd at the St. Petersburg-Clearwater International Airport was thing. At times on the trail, Giuliani's surrogates - actor Jon Voight and Texas Gov. Rick Perry - have seemed to have more enthusiasm than the candidate himself.
But Giuliani, with wife Judith by his side and holding his hand throughout a press availability, has been hitting home his message, placing himself as the most experienced on both economic policy and national security, and believing early voting will give them a more reliable turnout than his opponents.

Oh, for goodness sake. He's got a tough guy image but at the end of the day he's a northeast, NY liberal (see gay rights, abortion) who married his own cousin and cheated on his wives.
He wasn't going to win the Republican nomination no matter how tough he looked on 9/11.

Oh NaR, the audacity of a Republican who actually thinks that gays deserve any rights. OH THE HORROR!

For all of the spin Hillary has given on 'experience', what are her specific policy plans for:
*Revamping public education to cause our kids to be competitive in a global environment in the future? Our highschool diploma graduate rates continue to fall, and many who do graduate have difficulty reading their diplomas!
*Specific plans to cause American enterprise to become more competitive in a global environment? What we seem to hear are threats against businesses, yet she claims she is going to bring back jobs -- HOW???
*Providing additional health care availability without throwing the baby out with the bath water... HOW?
*Plans and policies to cause the US to become energy independent in 10 - 15 years (walking vice driving is not a solution!)?
*Revamping the US military to bring the strength of the forces back to the levels of 1990 -- prior to the cuts of the mid 90's -- with heavier reliance on robotics and artificial intelligence?
*Cleaning up the obscene waste by the Federal government -- especially earmarks by both parties?
With all of Hillary's alleged experience, would like for her to address the above. If she can't, then her experience equals ZERO!!!

Hey Jack, you may want to start with her website www.hillaryclinton.com. She actually does have stated positions on all kinds of issues like the ones you mention. She may not be the best campaigner or best performer in the Dem primary this year, but her policies have always been strong across the board -- and that's the reason she won the NY Senate seat so handily in 2000 and why she is incredibly respected for her work in the Senate. Still torn between her and Obama, personally, though I've been leaning Obama.
