Comeback Girl?

With 38% of precincts reporting, CBS News reports that Hillary Clinton leads Barack Obama 39-36%, with John Edwards at 17%, Bill Richardson at 5% and Dennis Kucinich at 2%.
CNN exit polls show HRC leading Obama 40-37% among Dems, with Edwards at 17%.
Hotline’s Mercurio reports, Democrats at HRC’s victory party, held in the gymnasium at Southern NH Univ., are unexpectedly jubilant, buoyed by early returns that show Clinton locked in a tight race with Barack Obama. At least that's the read we lowly reporters are getting from our pen in the back of the room.
And that's apparently the way Clinton wants it. "I don't mean to be a jerk, but could you get behind the line?" It's at Senator Clinton's request," a security guard told On Call a few minutes ago.
Meanwhile, the Atlantic’s Ambinder says that the Obama leadership are “cloistered” trying to figure out why the race is as close as it is. Meanwhile, HRC’s camp is readying “Comeback Girl” spin, with surrogates waiting to jump out of the gate.
Columnist Mark Shields, on HRC's resurgence: "Women, who had, in fact, deserted Hillary Clinton in most polls, returned to her" ("NewsHour").
PS-- Remember the college vote. Atlantic's Sullivan: "A reader reminds me that Durham (UNH) and Hanover (Dartmouth) have yet to report a single vote"
