TEDDY for Obama
Sen. Ted Kennedy is reportedly set to endorse Barack Obama tomorrow at American University, reports the Wash Post and others.
His backing is a huge boost to the Illinois senator coming off a stunning 2-1 win in South Carolina over Hillary Clinton. Caroline Kennedy, meanwhile, wrote today in the NYT that Obama is inspiring Americans in a way her father once did.
The endorsements follow a charged battle in S.C. between Obama and HRC. Both HRC and her husband were accused of using divisive campaign tactics in Nevada and then, more intensely, in S.C., an effort to polarize blacks and whites in a state where African Americans make up more than half of the Democratic primary vote.
Kennedy campaigned for John Kerry, another Obama supporter, in New Hampshire in 2004 -- drawing huge crowds and much enthusiasm from the Democratic base in the waning days of that primary contest.
This year, Massachusetts, of course, is a Feb. 5 primary state.

Cute, and very enthusiastic, but my money is still on Obama to just "place" or "show."
Barack Obama: until he dispenses with the vapid platitudes and starts putting forth some meaty proposals, he's still "all hat and no cattle" in my book.

Well, wonder if there is anybody out there that at this point was waiting for Ted Kennedy to make up his august mind in order to decide whom to vote for? The way I see it Ted is worth one vote, his vote. I wonder if he so deluded that he thinks that Barack can win a national election? This is depressing in a sense. All this years waiting for the right situation to bring a Democrat into the White House, and the Dems are one the verge of nominating the one fellow that cannot win! George McGovern all over again. If this come to happen, I wonder who the wacko left is going to blame for their monumental mistake. Why can’t you fellows just be practical? You guys want to go in glorious defect in the name of principle. A feel good defeat, follow by eight years of bitching when the neocons get to name two more judges to the Supreme Court, and keep packing the Federal Circuit Courts with more right wing ideologues! A coalition of sauvignon wine liberals, college students without any social investment in the communities that they live at, and African Americans full of ethnic pride and anger! Great recipe for a November rout!

No matter who endorses Obama, it will not make him more qualified to be our next President.
Hillary Clinton, is the right candidate to be nominated by Democrats to beat the Republicans this November.
Lets get REAL FOLKS!

Obama is among the best impressive polical talents of our lifetime. If he defeats Clinton, the question for the general election is not whether he can transcend his race but whether he can reach beyond his ideology.
