"A Wash"

The spin from Barack Obama's campaign tonight is that the results will be "a wash," reports NBC/NJ's Aswini Anburajan.

Obama adviser David Axelrod said that the campaign was behind by 20 points three weeks prior to tonight's contests, and that they'd closed a sizable gap.

Axelrod said that it doesn't matter that Obama didn't win OH because a Democrat will win Ohio regardless - due to the state's faltering economy. But the heart of the message is that the campaign soldiers on. Wyoming and Mississippi are next, and the Obama campaign will head there with advantages in both.

Well that isn't quite as dumb as Penn's spin in February it is still pretty bad. Team Obama had all the money and momentum and were sure they were going to end the contest tonight. Maybe Obama will learn that you shouldn't lie about what your chief economic adviser has been up to.

I feel for the people of the Keystone state who will soon have two campaigns living there for the next month.

Being twenty points down in two large states with a drawer full of cash to fight to a delegate draw is to be commended.

However, Mr. Axelrod your media campaign failed you in the last week and the two minute ad was a bust. To plop Obama's name on the screen after him talking for 10 seconds was pretty weird. Don't you think people know Obama's face yet that they don't have to be reminded with a black screen and white graphics - Barack Obama.

I have seen you do better.

Wow. Someone hand Axelrod some Dramamine. He must be feeling a bit nauseated from spinning.
