I'll Show You Mine If You Show Me Yours
Barack Obama released seven years of tax returns today "to demonstrate his commitment to transparency," said spokesman Robert Gibbs. Gibbs called on Hillary Clinton to do the same. "We believe that the Clinton campaign should meet that routine standard and meet that routine standard now," he said.
Clinton campaign spokesman Howard Wolfson has said HRC's tax returns would be released on or around April 15th. He promised at least three days of lead time before the April 22 PA primary.

Does that 7 years mean the entire tax return, including all appended schedules? Or did they thoughtfully include just the 1040s?
"We believe that the Clinton campaign should meet that routine standard and meet that routine standard now,"
Gibbs is such a comic. Is this a "routine standard" just because the Obama campaign says it is? I know Gibbs has no standards.

I hope there were not any 1099's from Rezko.

Has anyone picked up on fact that releasing tax returns at least three days in advance of 22 April PA primary - say late in the day on 19 April - could allow HRC to avoid detailed discussion during the confirmed 16 April and tentative 19 April debates with Obama?
Why not just 15 April!

Once again they choose to shuffle around the edges of the truth. There campaign says Obama should release more than just his 2006 return and he responds within minutes with the information the clintons ask for, but they choose not to be as honest. Obama has nothing to hide, he goes to Pastor Wright along with thousands of other members of many races, he answered the questions asked by chicago news reporters up front and he has let his records speak for themselves, not allowing people to speculate. He is an open book, clinton's campaign is a chapter that should be closed.
