On Call's very favorite react to Barack Obama's small town remarks:

“Nobody wants to be called bitter.” – Chris Matthews (MSNBC, 4/11/2008)

No one wants to be sent to a ridiculous war for the third time either, Chris. Or to be forced to travel 100 miles to get contraception or abortion counseling.

Jeebus, but our public discourse had gone to hell.

Despite Matthews' comment, I admit that I am bitter. I live in a small town and one of our major companies was just shut down. I am upset and fed-up by all this, and I admire that Senator Obama is facing the reality of it all. It sounds like Senator Clinton just wamts us to bottle up our emotions. That does not work. We can't deny how we feel. I am clinging to my religion and frustration because of this economic recession. President Bush keeps denying the horrible realities of war and the economy and that does not work. We must face these realities head-on. I appreciate that Senator Obama is facing those facts and calling on us to work through it.

BHO just insulted Chris' future constituents. It would almost be worth it to get off MSNBC and on CSpan.

First the jobs go to China. Then we hope the government will do something. Then it doesn't do anything. Then time passes and we can't provide for our families. We can't take care of our kids when they're sick----Hillary, did you ever have to choose between taking your sick kid to the doctor or buying groceries? Do you and Bill with all your millions even have a clue? For Pete sakes, of course we're angry. How long did you think we could hold out with nothing to work with? Go home and bake an apple pie instead of trying to tell us that's all you see in small town America. Shoot, we can't even afford the ingredients for an apple pie.

I'm bitter. I'm mad as hell. Maybe enough of us feel this way, we can change this country. That is what Obama stands for, not this fake bs Hillary and her supporters are giving us. I refuse to vote for a LIAR with a husband a convicted LIAR, who takes millions of dollars from foreign governments for kick backs to be delivered upon Hillary's Cornation. United States is phucked up right now, and if you vote for the Clintons to get back into the White House it will stay phucked up.
