KS Super D For Obama
Kansas Democratic Party Chair Larry Gates announced his endorsement of Barack Obama today, saying he has red state appeal.
“Kansans can unite behind Sen. Obama and his positive campaign, and that is why I have chosen to endorse him,” Gates said, in a statement released by Obama's campaign. “He has proven his ability to bring Democrats, Republicans and Independents together, and holds the same commitment to working across party lines as Kansas Governor Kathleen Sebelius."
On Call Aside: Veepstakes alert. Count Sebelius, who has been awfully quiet of late, as a strong contender. As a female guv of a GOP stronghold, she has demographic and geographic appeal.

Michelle Obama and Bill Clinton are hard to compare. I guess its not fair to hillary because her spouse has not been elected to office. I am an Obama supporter but I think Michelle is fair game. Questioning her patriotism I don't think is fair game though because that is definitley a republican tactic. I am an USMC veteran and have had my patriotism has been called in question because I have supported Democratic ideals so I am somewhat feel offended by Republican attacks against Michelle. There have been moments while serving while I have not been proud of America's foreign policy or just domestic policy period. We need change in this country and many serving with me agree.
