It's time for Barack to re-educate these people. It's GOOD not GREED, get it?

We need to restore America's greatness with real leadership.

No CEOs from Texas? Strange.

Ethan, "these people" are the shareholders who own the stock. You liberals have painted our corporations into a corner with Sarbannes Oxley and now we are bent over for the pleasure of foreign competitors. "These people" expect their stocks to go up as high as possible or the CEO's get fired. When you set the rules, don't be surprised when people play by them. Show me one liberal teacher's or state employees pension fund which owns one of these stocks who wants anything other than a higher price. These liberal pension funds don't care about downsizing or outsourcing, they only care about the stock going up. Every CEO on that list would love to operate more on a long term horizon like the Chinese, however they are forced by these institutions (I admit they are not all liberal, but the big pension funds almost all are) to focus on the short term, one quarter view.

Also, my friend, I am sorry I have not had much time to educate you lately, it is a little wet here in flyoverland. Have you seen the stories about the flood riots, the outpouring of assistance from the East Coast, the celebrity telethons...oh, that's right, none of that happened. Its only flyoverland, who cares.

Actually, flyover's (second) point is starting to make the rounds. Where IS the outpouring of help for the heartland? Has Brian Williams issued another decree that every show must include a segment on the flooding? Etc., etc.

Brian who?
