"Safe"
New John McCain TV spot released to day will drop in unnamed "battleground states." Stresses those national security creds and Vietnam service.
Script after the jump.
Script For "Safe" (TV:30)
JOHN MCCAIN: Only a fool or a fraud talks tough or romantically about war.
When I was five years old, my father left for war.
My grandfather came home from war and died the next day.
I was shot down over Vietnam and spent five years as a POW. Some of the friends I served with never came home.
I hate war.
And I know how terrible its costs are.
I'm running for President to keep the country I love safe.
I'm John McCain and I approve this message.

"I hate War" that's why I voted for and support a pre-emptive occupation of a country that did nothing to us.
Because if we occupy every country, there would be no war!
I'm John McSame and I approve this message.

Great! remind us of your deeply authoritarian, militaristic family history-goes back to the Civil War (confederate side)=an old-style machismo nightmare.

The War in Iraq is over, the American troops there are "babysitting". The "War" was over in the first week and a half."Babysitting" to prevent anarchy and bloodshed. The question shouldn't be why are the American's in Iraq, the real question is why isn't the U.N.?
Saddam Hussein Was a weapon of mass destruction, the Iraqi people were being starved to death and terrorized by Hussein's rule. His refusal to allow U.N. weapons inspectors free access is what started the war.
The U.N. isn't in Iraq because the oil for food program was being skimmed by some of them for their own personal profit!
Don't blame Bush and McCain for that.
By law the U.N. should have sanctioned intervention and the refusal to do so is really why American's are fighting alone.
I give Bush allot of credit for doing what was needed even though their "friends" at the U.N. wouldn't help.I think Saddam un-did himself.
How to get out without leaving the anarchy in charge is another problem.
The U.N. should be helping in Iraq and I have written to my Prime Minister, Stephen Harper, to say as much and encourage Canada get involved more.
The U.N is Suck'n and Blow'n so hard at the same time.
